Hello and a warm welcome to all Australian National University students, both new and returning! I’m Felix, a 3rd year student passionate about skiing and your president for ANU Snowsports this year. As we glide into 2024, I’m thrilled to share with you the exhilarating adventures and opportunities ANU Snowsports has in store for everyone!

ANU Snowsports: A Community for All

Whether you’re an experienced skier or snowboarder, or someone who’s never touched snow before, ANU Snowsports is your gateway to an unforgettable experience. As one of the largest sports and social clubs on campus, we pride ourselves on being an all-level club that welcomes members from all walks of life. Our aim? To bring together a community of snow enthusiasts who share a passion for adventure, excitement, and, of course, snow!

What’s on Offer in 2024?

This year, we’ve lined up an array of both snow and non-snow trips that cater to everyone’s tastes and skills. Some of our offerings include:

  • Coast Trip: Switch from snow to surf with our relaxing trip to the coast – a great way to unwind and bond with fellow club members.
  • Jindy Trip: Dive into the heart of the snow season with our iconic trip to Jindabyne. Perfect for all skill levels.
  • Hotham : For those seeking more challenging slopes, our Hotham trip is a must. Experience some of the best terrain Australia has to offer.
  • Social Canberra Events: From the glamorous Snowball to our lively Commencement events, there’s never a dull moment with ANU Snowsports.
  • Beginner’s Focus: New to snowsports? Our early-season beginner-focused trip is designed to help you find your feet (or skis) in a supportive and fun environment.
  • Competitive Spirit: Ready to take your skills to the next level? Participate in the unigames later in the season and showcase your talents.
